A skyscraper that towers over its surrounding area is the prominent home of the Topa Financial center in Oxnard, California. One of its key features is the stunning view from the building. The center is located in the Northwest Community, which benefits from easy access to route 101, Oxnard Airport and the Naval Base in Ventura County. The Oxnard-Thousand Oaks-Ventura metro area’s main industries are defense, agriculture (strawberries and lima beans, particularly) and tourism. It’s the headquarters of a food processing company that employs around 1,500 people and a biotech medicines corporate employing 18,000 globally. Hi-tech employment is just under 8% and over 30% of the population are college educated, with 11.4% having graduate degrees.
